- This website is to commemorate our people who
moved to the United States from Zschorlau - looking for opportunity... and for
adventure.

- In our modern times here in the USA, on average
we move every
seven years. Many people drive 60 miles and 2 hours to get to work.
Brothers,
sisters, and parents may be spread across thousands of miles, the entire width of the country.

- Most of our Zschorlau families had lived in
this little mountain region for hundreds of years. Moving away was a big
step that was made much easier by their staying close and connected - which
included having the annual Orange County Park picnic.
